August Faller will be demonstrating its extensive expertise in all aspects of packaging at the CPhI Worldwide, the world’s largest trade fair for the pharmaceutical industry (5-7 November 2019, Frankfurt/Main). The company will be showcasing many solutions that manufacturers of pharmaceutical products can use to optimise their procurement and significantly shorten their time-to-market.

In Hall 11.1, Booth 111F20, Faller Packaging will be presenting its new orientation and brand strategy to visitors: The company offers folding cartons, labels and package inserts from a single source and combines them to create individual packaging solutions. The aim is to reduce procurement costs for customers and help them bring their products to market even faster. Thanks to its novel ideas and modern technologies, Faller Packaging can always find the right answer to the current challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.

For example, Faller has founded a subsidiary – PackEx GmbH – to meet the increasing demand for ever-smaller batch sizes and shorter delivery times. PackEx GmbH specialises in the production of folding cartons in small and minimal quantities. Customers can order the desired products online at any time because the manufacturing process is digitalised throughout. This enables PackEx to deliver orders within only 72 hours – in an extremely resource-saving way and at low cost. At the same time, the company offers many possibilities for the individualisation and personalisation of packaging.

Faller Packaging is also a pioneer in the field of serialisation. The specialist company has developed various coding and security solutions for its packaging that meet all legal requirements. Faller is even ready for the printing of Russian crypto codes, which will be required by law in Russia from January 2020. The codes are much more complex than the Datamatrix codes used in the EU and elsewhere, and can only be produced using specific technologies. Faller has already created the conditions for this in its folding carton and label production and is now able to offer full support to its customers who export to Russia.
