EcoVadis bronze medal
In the latest sustainability assessment by EcoVadis, Faller Packaging has improved significantly and received the bronze medal. EcoVadis is a globally recognised sustainability assessment platform and analyses companies in areas such as the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
Sustainability Report: Sustainable long before it was a trend
Sustainable action has a long tradition at Faller Packaging. We have been publishing an annual sustainability report for 22 years. Up to now, the publication has been voluntary in order to show customers, the public and also our own employees what has been achieved and, of course, where there is still room for improvement.
For the first time our sustainability report is guided by the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Despite the recent adjustments introduced through the EU’s Omnibus package, we uphold the principles of double materiality and structured reporting.

Our striving for more sustainability and a more liveable future can only be successful if we make it comprehensible how we work. For this reason, we have made a comprehensive compilation of our guidelines and other binding documents available for you to download.
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we also use FSC®C104125-certified materials to ensure that our packaging comes from responsibly managed forests. This is another important step in ensuring that we provide our customers with packaging solutions that are not only safe and effective, but also protect the environment. Evidently sustainable: our benchmarks for success
We can only make significant progress on our path to greater sustainability by applying scientifically sound and recognised standards to our actions. That is why Faller Packaging defines its sustainability target in line with the principles of the following sustainability standards. This approach enables us to measure our successes and publish the results in a comprehensible and comparable manner. In this way, we want to live up to our responsibility towards our stakeholders and also make it clearer for ourselves where there is still potential for improvement.
UN - 17 Sustainable Development Goals
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which was adopted by all member states of the United Nations in 2015, is a common concept for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and in the future.
Faller Packaging also aligns its aspirations for a better future with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals formulated therein.
GRI: Global Reporting Initiative
The GRI provides the most widely used standards for sustainability reporting worldwide. They cover topics such as biodiversity, tax, waste, emissions, diversity and equality, and health and safety.
By following the GRI framework, we ensure transparent and comprehensive reporting on our sustainability efforts.
EcoVadis
Since its foundation in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world's largest and most reliable provider of corporate sustainability ratings.
The rating results at EcoVadis help us to continue to improve. Through these efforts, we aim to bring about positive change both in our business and throughout the supply chain.
CDP: Carbon Disclosure Project
CDP operates a global environmental disclosure system and supports thousands of organisations in measuring and managing their risks and opportunities related to climate change, water security and deforestation.
Faller Packaging also contributes to this initiative through its sustainability reporting on the platform.
